[May 2018] On a weekend jaunt to L.A., my daughter took me to a.o.c. for an early dinner consisting of small plates and drinks. I went not knowing anything about a.o.c. The minute we arrived I knew this place was special and I would be in for a treat. The restaurant oozes with old world charm, so warm and inviting, like an old European countryside family restaurant. I was taking it all in, from the painted tiles to the ivy and fountains, I was enamored and yet to see the menu.
Being our first time there, our server offered suggestions which we eagerly accepted. When the food began to arrive, I wasn’t thinking about The Tiny Fairy and we dove right in!

OMG! I can’t begin to describe how amazing the food was. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and came out as the chef intended it to be enjoyed. It was sensory overload with each bite.

I’ve never had fried chicken like this. So flavorful, crispy and tender. The aioli was the perfect sauce to complement the chicken. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It was finger-lickin’ good. Yes, it is acceptable to eat fried chicken with your fingers!

This was an evening to remember. I think I found my new favorite restaurant in L.A. and I can’t wait to return. I do hope you visit them for yourself and draw the same conclusion.

Did you see all the awards the chefs have earned? It’s no wonder this place is so amazing!
