Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Balsamic Glaze

Delicious crispy and roasted Brussels sprouts with the sweet balsamic glaze and salty bite of the bacon. A perfect side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1½ - 2 lbs. Brussels sprouts - clean, trimmed and cut in half
  • 5 strips bacon, diced
  • olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • Balsamic glaze (store bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a wide skillet over medium to high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel to drain.

  3. Place the trimmed Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and sprinkle with Kosher salt, black pepper and olive oil. Toss and coat evenly. Bake in the center rack for 35 minutes.

  4. Remove from oven and add bacon and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Toss to coat evenly and return to the oven for 5-7 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and plate. Finish with a little Kosher salt, black pepper and an extra drizzle of the balsamic glaze.
