Thyme Glazed Carrots


  • 4-5 carrots, peeled and sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Kosher salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2-3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • Thyme


  1. Peel and cut the carrots.  Place in a saute pan.  Add water.  Cook covered over medium heat until fork tender. Add a little more water, if needed.

  2. Add salt, pepper, butter and brown sugar.  Cook uncovered until glaze begins to caramelize.  Toss carrots in glaze and add thyme.   Toss again.  Serve and enjoy.
