Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted prefer Plugra or Kerrygold brand
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Dijon or Country mustard prefer Grey Poupon brand
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 24 rolls Hawaiian King Rolls
  • ¾ - 1 pound deli sweet slice ham, thin slices
  • ¾ - 1 pound baby swiss cheese, thin slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° degrees.   Line your baking tray with foil or parchment paper.  Set aside.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dry minced onion and poppy seeds.  Set the mustard sauce aside.

  3. With a serrated knife, cut the rolls lengthwise across the middle separating the tops from the bottoms.   Lightly spread some of the mustard sauce on the bottom roll for extra flavor.

  4. Layer the ham and cheese evenly, ensuring all the edges have ham and cheese.  Cover with the bun tops.    Score through the ham and cheese and place them in the baking dish.

  5. Using a silicone brush, spread the remaining mustard sauce evenly over the sliders. Make sure you get that delicious butter sauce in the scored nooks and crannies.

  6. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.   Uncover and bake for 5-10 minutes, until golden brown.    Ensure they are sliced through, plate and serve.
