Hello and welcome to The Tiny Fairy!
My name is Diana, I’m a lifelong Floridian and a self-taught cook and baker. I’m a weekday corporate employee and a weekend cook and blogger. When my daughter moved to the West Coast, I started The Tiny Fairy as an online family cookbook and entertaining resource. My tagline is a nod to my wise grandmother who always told us it’s the little things that make us happy.
What is The Tiny Fairy? It’s a collection of recipes I’ve enjoyed with family and friends, along with classic tablescapes, entertaining ideas and a few other topics for good measure. I love to cook with fresh herbs, citrus, real butter, assorted cheeses, wine and bacon just to name a few. Even though I have limited storage, I have a healthy obsession for vintage linens, dinnerware and glassware. I can’t resist setting a beautiful table because it enhances the eating experience. At its core, cooking and entertaining is an expression of love – it contributes to our happiness and creates unforgettable memories for those around us.
How did The Tiny Fairy get its name? It was a website my sister owned and wasn’t using, so she helped me set it up and the rest is history. I cook, develop recipes, adapt some classic recipes, share shortcuts and hacks, photograph, edit, write and post on social media. You can find me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
If you enjoy cooking or like to try new recipes, my step-by-step posts are easy to follow. Maybe you are looking for a tablescape inspiration or entertaining ideas? Whatever brought you here, I’m glad you came and I hope this blog contributes in a tiny way to you and your family. The Tiny Fairy is dedicated to my daughter, Adriana, the best sous chef and barista a mother could ask for. I love you to pieces Lovey!
Cheers to happiness, family, cooking with love and pretty tables.
Thank you fairy much for visiting!
