With all the fall decorations out and Labor Day around the corner, I couldn’t help myself and I started playing around with the classic Chex mix snacking treat! Is it too early? Oh well… Hello Harvest Chex & White Chocolate Crack! OMG! This is so addictive, I need a Netflix series!
In a large mixing bowl combine the various Chex cereals, pretzels and mini M&M pieces. Prepare a long sheet of parchment paper on the counter or table. Over a double boiler, melt the white chocolate. Once the chocolate is smooth, drizzle it over the cereal mix and quickly toss with a spatula to coat every piece.
Pour the mix onto the parchment paper and smooth it out into an even thin layer. Evenly sprinkle your favorite fall/harvest/Halloween sprinkle mix and allow the white chocolate to harden and set – 45 minutes or so.
Do your best to stay away and not pick at it. It’s highly addictive! Once dry, break it up into small, bite size pieces and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
