Welcome fall! I love simple and uncomplicated tablescapes. This setting pulls in a pumpkin color and natural elements. Add in a little glow for extra sparkle and you’re all set. Putting this look together is perfect for stress free entertaining. Setting the table the day before allows me to focus on all the cooking and baking.
HERE’S WHAT I DID
I knew I wanted a clean and simple table for four. Inspired by these beautiful pumpkin colored napkins, I styled our eat-in-kitchen table in soothing natural tones with fresh greenery.
My local flower shop has a great selection and I picked up two bunches of greenery – I remember one was penny leaf eucalyptus. I loosely set them down the middle in place of a table runner and scattered five small mercury glass votive candles throughout (I find odd numbers add a great visual element). Once that was done, I set out my rattan plate chargers and white simple plates. Clear vintage glasses and a special stainless steel flatware set rounded out the details.
Tip: White plates are a perfect neutral canvas that allows your food to stand out.
Easy. Simple. Uncomplicated. Those are my favorite tables. I hope you can draw inspiration for your own fall table and gathering. Remember it’s always about the special people around the table and not the tablescape or what your serve.
