When these glass pumpkins showed up at HomeGoods, I went crazy and bought quite a few of them, maybe too many. Around the same time, I also found these beautiful Royal Stafford Homeland Turkey plates with the victorian scroll design. I knew they would work perfectly and purchased them without hesitation.
HomeGoods is an amazing store that is constantly stocking new and wonderful items for the home. I try and visit a few times a week just to see what’s come in. Many of my finds are from HomeGoods so it should come as no surprise how often I reference them as a source.
INSPIRATION AND CREATING THE LOOK
In addition to the glass pumpkins and the Royal Stafford plates, I bought this gorgeous 90-inch round Marseille linen tablecloth for $5 dollars at a Ballard Design Outlet close-out sale! Looking back I wish I would have bought another one even if it was the same color. The quality is amazing and the color is stunning.
I matched the plates to the linen tablecloth and these fun daisy napkins from World Market and layered them over my Pier 1 Imports rattan chargers I found at Goodwill some time ago. You can find them online on Amazon and many other vendors. My gold bamboo Flatsay Flatware is from Amazon, but are also available from other online sites. I love them and they are so versatile!
To make the centerpiece, I layered a few wooden rounds to give the pumpkins some height and visual interest. A simple pip berry garland from my local Hobby Lobby, some scattered some fall leaves from FromTheGardenLLC on Etsy, a 5-foot string of fairy lights and votive candles provided the perfect glow and finished the decor.
Because I layered the wooden rounds, I was able to hide the fairy lights battery box and cover it up with leaves. It worked perfectly! I always find the battery box to be unsightly and challenging to hide. Don’t you?
I love vintage glasses! Here I used my Hazel-Atlas Moroccan Amethyst glass and Libbey’s Gold Foliage water glass. Grandma had these Libbey frosted glasses in 1957 and although these are not hers, it makes me smile and feel connected to her. I’ve collected these over time from antique and thrift stores. I love how the Moroccan glasses match the purple glass pumpkin and pick up some tones on the plates!
This table was set for my family-style Cornish Game Hens Thanksgiving Dinner so there’s ample space on the table for platters. I hope you like this tablescape and are inspired to design your own. Leave a comment below, I would love to hear from you!
Foyer table and bar cart with assorted glass pumpkins with glass. I love their glow and it was a simple yet welcoming decor! The bar cart is basically unchanged, I only added a felt garland and a few pumpkins. Since I decorate for fall from September through October, these glass pumpkins were the perfect minimalist decor I was looking for.
